As the mayor of Borgo, Roberta Robbione.

Condolences also from Fisi. «About her Her smile, her passion for cross-country skiing, fielded first as an athlete and then as a coach. We want to express on behalf of the Western Alps Committee and the Cuneo Provincial Committee of the FISI our condolences and closeness to the family in this very sad moment – they write from the federation that deals with skiing -. Piedmontese skiing loses another protagonist on the track and a woman who had been able to best embody the values of sport»: with these words the President of the FISI Western Alps Committee, Pietro Blengini, and the President of the FISI Cuneo Provincial Committee, Paolo Giordano comment with the sudden disappearance of Sara Fina.

«Our heartfelt and sympathetic thoughts – continue Blengini and Giordano – go to Sara’s family, her husband Matteo Bassino and her sister-in-law Marta, to whom Sara had given the joy of becoming a father and an aunt of two splendid children. In memory we go back to Sara’s commitment in training and in competitions for the colors of the Valle Maira Ski Club and, more recently, to the passion with which he passed on his technical experience and his moral baggage to the boys of the Valle Stura Ski Club that he coached. We have the images of her when, as a young athlete, she gave her best on the race tracks, but above all her example of a girl who loved sport and life and who was carrying out a beautiful life project with Matteo, unfortunately tragically interrupted by the destiny”.
