Former Italian player Anastasia Guerra is returning to play in Italy, and in the next championship she will play in the team that Vero Volley Milano has entrusted to Stefano Lavarini.
Anastasia Guerra was born on October 15, 1996 in Castelfranco Veneto. At 15, she took her first steps in high-level volleyball at Bruel Bassano, winning the Under 16 national title and making her first appearances in series C. In 2012, she was called up with the Under 18 National Team to the 8 Nations Tournament where she won gold and the title of best spiker; in the following seasons, she continued to collect recognition in Italy with the silver at the 2013 Under 18 European Championships and the title of MVP of the event.

In 2014 she was called by Club Italia and made her debut in A2. The following season she also received her first call-up to the senior national team. In 2015 Anastasia continued her journey in blue with a bronze at the Under 20 World Cup.
At 19, she made her debut in A1, with Club Italia. In the summer of 2016, she then moved to Pomì Casalmaggiore and stayed for two seasons, collecting a third place in the CEV Cup; in 2018 (the year in which she won gold at the Montreux Volley Masters with the National team), she moved to China to Shanghai Bright Ubest, in January 2019 she was then called to the French Ligue A by ASPTT Mulhouse Volley-Ball. The return to Italy took place the following year when Anastasia wore the jersey of Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, before transferring to Il Bisonte Firenze the following season. From 2021 to 2023, she defended the colors of Bartoccini-Fortinfissi Perugia for two championships; the last season she flew to Turkey to play the Sultanlar Ligi with Muratpaşa Belediyesi Sigorta Shop.
She is now ready for another return to Italy, to Milan, where next year she will fight on several fronts with the Milanese club’s shirt.

“Wearing the Vero Volley Milano jersey is an unmissable opportunity – Guerra begins – I am arriving in one of the most serious and professional teams in the Italian championship, sharing the season with top-level teammates and staff is a great incentive for my career. I can’t wait to focus on the season and think about doing well match after match; my wish for the team is to soon find the right mix of fun and serenity that allows them to face every challenge with the right attitude”.
