Pantaleo Podio Volley Fasano officially presents its new athletic trainer Andrea Blasi who will work alongside the technical staff led by coach Paolo Totero during the next season.
Former B series volleyball and Beach Volleyball player, with participation in various stages of the Italian championship, the new athletic trainer of Salento origins, owner of “Lab23 studio personal” located in Lecce, personal trainer for over 25 years with specialization in functional training, strength & conditioning coach, sport performance specialist elav, expert in physical preparation Coni sports school “project work on physical preparation in volleyball”, boasts several collaborations with the world of women’s and men’s volleyball with flattering results achieved over the years, not least the promotion to the B2 women’s series of Dream Volley Nardò. Several of his collaborations with men’s volleyball clubs of Serie A3 have led the rosters he has athletically looked after to achieve flattering sporting results. A 360° knowledge of the sports world that has also seen him as an athletic trainer of Julio Houze junior athlete of the Italian Kite Surf national team (third place at the category world championships in 2022 and first place in the Italian championship).
“I would like to thank the Pantaleo Yolley Podio Fasano club and coach Paolo Totero – says Andrea Blasi – for wanting to focus on my qualities as an athletic trainer for the new sports season. A few words with the sports director were enough Micaela Hood during a preliminary meeting to understand the company’s plans and the determination with which they want to reach the set goals. For these reasons I did not have the slightest hesitation in accepting this new challenge with great enthusiasm. It is an honor to be able to give my contribution to an ambitious project in the context of a serious association that aims at important goals. I will do my best with the utmost dedication and professionalism to repay the trust that has been placed in me. We will face a long and demanding championship and for this reason it will be important to maintain high levels of physical condition throughout the season. I do not like to leave anything to chance and it is for this reason that the players have already received a personalized off-season program in order to take advantage of the summer period to work on any physical problems and bring each of them to an optimal condition before facing the athletic preparation that will begin in August”.
