“The balance of this edition of Alpago Bike Funtastic is positive, starting from the numbers: we had almost 800 competitors, coming from 15 nations” explains Paolo Zanon, president of the Società Ciclistica Chies, an organization that has been involved in organizing mountain bike events for over thirty years. “The variations we proposed to the route, to make it more in line with modern stands, were greatly appreciated by the competitors: I believe that this appreciation is the greatest gratification for the organizing staff and for the over one hundred volunteers who worked during these three days. We also proposed a series of collateral events, including Alpago Bike & Food, in collaboration with the association Il Veses, Keepsporting and Fiab: a great opportunity to promote the area. The future? We would like to bring a European youth championship to the trails of Lamosano”.
