The arrival in Italy is a matter of time. 2022 transfer session: he signs for Med Store Tunit Macerata, closing the season with 398 points (25 aces and 56 blocks), and reaching the play-off round of 16 and the Italian cup final. From San Giustino to Sorrento: how did the negotiation begin and why did you choose Sorrento?
“In the environment I had always heard good things about the Campania company. In addition, I know that Sorrento is a splendid city, so the white smoke was very quick!”
How would you describe your style on the pitch?
“My style depends a lot on the day and my mood! Generally speaking, I am a calm person, but at the same time tenacious and stubborn in achieving my goals”.
You have played in several European leagues: what do you think are the main characteristics of the Italian championship?
“I don’t think there is much difference in terms of athletic preparation, or the intensity of training sessions. What changes is the level, the quality of volleyball expressed on the taraflex, and the number of people on the staff.”
What are your ambitions for the next championship?
“I am a very determined athlete, and I usually set the bar higher and higher. I am working to be ready for the start of the season, and to do my best to help my teammates in every situation. Sacrifice is the only way to win as many games as possible, and rejoice together in reaching the goals set.”
