Extreme shame, anti-Semitic stickers around Portonaccio: Hitler and Mussolini with the Roma shirt and the Lazio mascot like a deportee
Descriptive text here

A series of anti-Semitic stickers, ready for distribution ahead of the derby. Mr Enrich, the symbol of the Lazio ultras, the Irriducibili, wears striped pajamas, like the deportees, prisoners of concentration camps. I’m there next to him Adolf Hitler And Benito Mussolini. The first is drawn, the face of the second is taken from a photographic portrait. Both are wearing an old Roma shirt. In the background there are the buildings of Auschwitz and the gate with the writing “Arbeit macht frei”.

The anti-Semitic stickers, made by a Roma fan, appeared a few days ago in the Portonaccio/Tiburtino area. They would have been made in view of the derby between Roma and Lazio which will be played on April 6th at the Olympic stadium and distribution is currently underway among some Roma fans linked to the neo-Nazi extreme. The sticker of Hitler with the Roma shirt from the 1980s scudetto (sponsor Barilla) had already appeared in January 2023, close to Remembrance Day. The image was reused for the new collage that offends the memory of the Holocaust. In the composition, the logo of Mr Enrich’s Lazio, the darling of the Curva Nord, is drawn backwards.

It is not the first time that anti-Semitism has become the protagonist of the derby: 7 years ago the stickers with the face of Anne Frank posted by Lazio fans in the Curva Sud caused a scandal. Now this new outrage which arrives a month after the double fascist demonstration of the two fans. On March 4 in Munich, Lazio fans sang fascist chants in the historic Hofbräuhaus, so dear to Hitler. Roman greetings and the cry “Duce, Duce, Duce”, chanted aloud. Two days hours earlier, a group of Roma fans had been caught on the train in Milan while the anti-Semitic chant for Sardar Azmoun was singing: “There are no Jews in Roma”
