Carnevali: “Frattesi is perfect for Juve. Muharemovic? Inter is there, but…”

Interviewed by Tuttosport, Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali spoke about the future of Frattesi and also of Muharemovic, a defender targeted by Inter:

Davide Frattesi and Giacomo Raspadori, two of the richest transfers in Sassuolo’s history, could change shirts as early as January.

«Frattesi and Raspadori are two players that I love, if I were in a big club I would always take them. Frattesi is in demand by Juve and can play in any team, also due to the characteristics he has. Juve wanted him when he went to Inter, as did Napoli. Inter were just more determined and the boy’s will made the difference.”

Have you wondered why Frattesi was unable to establish himself at Inter?

«There are many champions at Inter, but I think Frattesi has always done well. If he plays, he can emerge. If he comes here to Sassuolo we will take him back immediately (laughs, ed.).”

From Sassuolo today the name of the moment is Tarik Muharemovic. Does it have a price?

«We don’t have to sell Muharemovic by force. We want to enhance it. I had already sold Locatelli to Arsenal, but he preferred Juventus and we chose to please him by giving up some more money. For us Tarik doesn’t have a price today, because a lot depends on who asks us. He has great potential, it’s normal that if a big club arrives we listen to him. But then we also have to find a replacement.”

Who has already moved for him?

«We have already had some approaches. Not with Bournemouth, with Inter yes, but there are no official requests. Even Bologna asked me about Muharemovic the other evening.”

His transfer could help Juve, due to the 50% they would receive on the boy’s resale.

«I’m thinking of our transfer market, certainly not of Juve’s problems. Maybe Muharemovic could also be of interest to Juve itself, who knows…”.
