Bad weather continues to hit Italy even on Christmas day: thunderstorms and storms are expected both in the North and in the Center (also partly in the South, where however the general situation is better). There is therefore a weather alert in six regions: red, orange and yellow – depending on the areas – in Emilia-Romagna, where the rivers are of concern, with the right tributaries of the Rhine and the Idice under special observation, and yellow in five other regions (Piedmont, Lazio, Puglia, Tuscany and Campania). Strong Bora in Trieste (SKY TG24 WEATHER FORECAST).
The weather on Christmas day: cold in the North, hot from Rome down
As i explainsLMeteo.itduring the day a cyclone will pass over the Central Tyrrhenian Sea with a pressure of approximately 999 hPa. From here it will be able to attract strong currents of Bora, Grecale and Levante towards the Po Valley, the Upper Adriatic, the Marche, Tuscany and Liguria, while a sustained Sirocco will blow over the rest of the country. The different origins of the winds, together with the position of the cyclone, favor the clear weather division of the country during this Christmas: cold in the Po Valley, with highs around 5°C and some other white flakes at low altitude; from Rome downwards even above 15°C.
