TERMOLI. The inauguration ceremony of the new 2023/24 school year took place on Monday 18 September at the “Saffi-Alberti” technical institute in Forlì, in the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Minister of Education and Merit Valditara, broadcast in live on Rai1.
Ten children were involved, students of the ISIS Majorana-Fascitelli Institute of Isernia, of the Giuseppe Maria Galanti State High School and of the Francesco D’Ovidio middle school of Campobasso, of the ISIS Majorana and the Istituto Comprensivo Pace of Termoli, accompanied by a delegate from the Molise Regional School Office and the head teacher of one of the institutes.
The ceremony was, like every year, colored by the presence of delegations of students from numerous Italian institutes, engaged in performances carrying important meanings. A ceremony packed with talent, the passions of the students and pages of stories of social redemption.
“School is your path to freedom”, this is the recurring motif, expressed in Sergio Mattarella’s edifying speech, in which he highlighted the importance of inclusion and the role of school in breaking down solid social barriers.
An inauguration dedicated to current events, sport and safety at work, hosted by Flavio Insinna and Malika Ayane and accompanied by the notes of the most popular singers among young people such as The Kolors and Alfa.
