Aid was mobilized around lunchtime following a road accident on the A6 Turin-Savona, two kilometers before the Millesimo toll booth, in the direction of the provincial capital of Savona.

The accident reportedly involved a lorry which had fallen off a viaduct for reasons that are still under investigation. After knocking down the guardrail on the right he made a face of about 15 meters. The driver of the vehicle, a 40-year-old man of Romanian nationality, was transported in code red by air to the emergency room of the Santa Corona hospital in Pietra Ligure. The prognosis is guarded.
The heavy vehicle exited near a construction site. Luckily at that moment, the workers had temporarily left their jobs to go and have lunch. The engine and trailer were completely destroyed.
