US President Joe Biden’s “cognitive decline” has worsened in the last six months and people close to the president have witnessed at least “15 to 20 occasions” similar to what the country saw during last week’s presidential debate in the last year and a half. This was revealed by American journalist Carl Bernstein, speaking on Anderson Cooper Monday night on CNN. “These are people, many of whom are very close to President Biden, who loved him, who supported him and among them are some people who would have raised a lot of money for him. And they firmly believe that what we saw the other night, the Joe Biden that we saw, is not an isolated case, there have been 15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half in which the president appeared in some way like in that horror show that we witnessed,” Bernstein’s reconstruction.

“And what’s so significant is the people who are making this happen, and also how many people around the president are aware of these incidents, including some of the press who have witnessed some of these,” he said. Referring to Biden’s address to the nation in response to the Supreme Court’s partial immunity ruling in Donald Trump’s lawsuits, Bernstein continued: “But here tonight we see that, as these people say, President Biden is at his best, and yet these people, those who supported him, loved him, campaigned for him, see him often, say that in the last six months in particular there has been a marked incidence of cognitive decline and physical infirmity,” and that the president alternates between moments of extreme lucidity and moments of darkness.
