From an early age, Eddie Brock was passionate about poetrywriting many compositions that later became songs. As a teenager he became acquainted with rap and participated in several freestyle battles on the street. Growing up he preferred to divert his artistic path towards singer-songwriter.

A FanPage he said: “Basically I started by writing poetryI was obsessed with rap. I couldn’t write without backing track, so I’d put them on a disk and listen to them in the car: Eminem, songs like Till I Collapse and the like. I was trying to understand if my words could stand on a basis. Then I started doing freestyle battles in the square, never official because I was small and shy. I was good at twisting rhymes. One day I went to record a song and the guy told me: ‘You can’t be a singer, you have a terrible voice’. I felt very bad about it. And I even paid for it! So I stopped for a while.”
