Having just surpassed the 1 billion mark on Spotify with their latest album Rush!last August 8th the Roman band had announced, surprisingly, the release of the single, Honey (Are U Coming?) with a video posted on Instagram, in fact, i Maneskins they shared a few seconds of the song, with the voice of Damian David who sings the title phrase of the song.
On September 12, at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, i Maneskins will perform at the MTV VMAs, the event rewards the best video clips and the best songs of the last twelve months. For Rush! the Roman band, composed by Damian David, Victoria DeAngelis, Ethan Torchio And Thomas Rays, has received 4 nominations, and is also in contention for Best Rock becoming the first Italian group to be nominated for two consecutive years in a main category of the show. The bassist of the Maneskinsin fact, she was called to play in a cover of Psycho Killerhit by Talking Heads, on the new album by Duran Duran. In fact, the name of the Roman musician appears among the special collaborations of the album, together with that of Warren Cuccurullo, Andy Taylor, Nile Rodgers and the producers Josh Blair And Mr Hudson.
