The Iezzi sisters return to the radio with a new single, the fifth after their reunion.
Paola & Chiara will be the protagonists of the coming summer with a new catchphrase.
For a few hours the Iezzi sisters have been on the radio with «Festa total», published by Columbia Records/Sony Music Italy.
It is a rhythmic piece with reminiscences of the early 2000s, embellished by the strings of the Stockholm Orchestra.
«I must say that we have created this beautiful link with Sweden, creator of pop from ABBA onwards», Paola told RDS. «With a wonderful orchestra, we recorded the song in one of ABBA’s studios and we are very proud of it. It’s not that easy to have an orchestra play on a record. Today, music is often made quickly and there isn’t much time to insert real instruments. But we wanted the piece to have this ’70s flavor, and doing it with a real orchestra is really different.”
«Festa Totale is an inclusive invitation to party», say Paola & Chiara. «A cry of strong and free love to the world, an exhortation to any type of outing, like two modern heroes who challenge judging looks on a dance floor and make their joy explode in a dance that infects everything and everyone. ..and to which you can’t say no. A total celebration that arrives in everyone’s heads, minds and hearts like an unexpected wind that makes you dance.”
Paola and Chiara, after a 10-year break, returned to sing together in Sanremo 2023 with «Furore», certified platinum. Last summer they released «Mare Caos» and «Lambada» with Boomdabash; at the end of the year it was the turn of «Solo Mai».
