Blake Lively is the protagonist of It Ends With Us, a film based on the novel by Colleen Hoover, arriving on Sky Cinema Uno and streaming on NOW.

Despite the legal feud that accompanied this title after its release between the two protagonists, It Ends With Us – We are the ones who say enough is enough it’s coming this evening, Sunday 28 December 2025on first TV on Sky Cinema One and simultaneously streaming on NOW. Based on the successful novel of the same name by Colleen HooverIt Ends With Us tells the story of Lily played by Blake Lively.

The plot by It Ends With Us – We Say Enough revolves around Lilya young woman who recently moved to Boston who meets a man by chance, Ryle. She discovers that he is a famous and charming surgeon, but allergic to lasting relationships. Sparks immediately fly between the two and they end up dating, quickly falling in love. Lily, however, is forced to deal with Ryle’s unstable nature and her relationship ends up reminding her of the painful one between her parents when she was a girl. Lily begins to fear for herself, but her love for Ryle overshadows everything else, until Atlas, her first love, returns to her life.

Playing Lily is Blake Lively, known since the days of Gossip Girlwhile Ryle has the features of Justin Baldoniwho also appears as the film’s director. In the cast we also find Jenny Slate who plays Allysa, Hasan Minhaj who plays Marshall, Amy Morton who plays Jenny e Brandon Sklenar who plays Atlas.

Even before distribution, It Ends With Us sparked some controversy among fans due to the casting of the two protagonists, in the eyes of most considered too old compared to the age of the characters in the novel. Regarding the issue, the author of the novel justified the choice by explaining that it was her intention to age the characters to correct a mistake made in the novel. Another controversy then emerged after the distribution of the film, which took place during 2024, and which still involved the two protagonists but in a mutual legal battle.
