To be precise, it’s not even a trailer, but a teaser trailer. Therefore shorter than a real trailer, and more suggestive. It is resolved in less than a minute of images (the clip is above) and in the presentation of what would appear to be the two protagonists of the film. They are Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Maybe you’ve already guessed it: it’s about The Devil Wears Prada 2sequel to The devil wears Prada.
With 181 million views in 24 hours, the teaser of The Devil Wears Prada 2 set an annual record. It’s a confirmation of the anticipation surrounding Miranda Priestly’s return to the big screen. Second Forbeswho reported the news, it was the best debut ever for a comedy trailer since WaveMetrix began tracking. He detached the live action remake of Oceania (161 million views for the teaser trailer) and Lilo & Stitch (149 million for the trailer).
Again according to WaveMetrix, a third of the views came from accounts Facebook, Instagram e TikTok of the protagonist Hathaway, on her 43rd birthday.
Forbes noted how “only one of the year’s most-viewed movie trailers was not for a sequel, remake, or film based on an existing intellectual property: Michaela Michael Jackson biopic starring his nephew, was the eighth most-watched movie trailer of the year.”

The devil wears Prada
I watch films and play video games, from a certain point in life I also started writing about them. I am fascinated by the remote corners of the internet, the graphics of the first 3D video games and the images that fall under the not at all defined umbrella of the term aesthetic, with respect to which I carry out a compulsive cataloging activity that has as its point of arrival some Instagram profiles. However, the TV series with the best aesthetics (and the best overall) is The X-Files, which I never ended up not conceiving the thought “there are no more episodes of The X-Files to watch for the rest of my life”. Same thing with Evangelion (the manga).
