In the finale of CobraMarion Cobretti takes Ingrid away from Los Angeles to protect her, accompanied by Sergeant Gonzales and Agent Nancy Stalk. The group reaches the quiet town of San Remos, where they stop for the night in an isolated motel.
During their stay, Cobra and Ingrid become closer, revealing a mutual attraction, but the situation worsens when it is discovered that Nancy is actually a member of the cult of the New World and led the killers to them. At dawn, the cultists arrive in town on motorcycles and lay siege to the motel. A violent firefight breaks out during which Cobra kills numerous members of the sect, while Gonzales is injured.
The motel is set on fire and the group is forced to flee. Cobra and Ingrid manage to escape in a pick-up truck, narrowly avoiding a fatal accident caused by a burning car blocking the road. Even during the escape, Cobra continues to repel the attackers, eliminating several of them. The chase ends inside a chemical plant, where Cobra finally faces the leader of the killers, the Night Slasher.
The latter delivers a delirious speech in which he claims that the law represented by Cobra is weak and that their sect will continue to survive. The fight ends when Cobra throws the Night Slasher into a huge metal hook which stabs him and makes him fall into a tub of molten metal, killing him. Nancy also attempts one last attack, but is eliminated.
After the massacre, Cobra and Ingrid exit the factory, injured but alive. The captain congratulates Stallone’s character, while Detective Monte refuses to acknowledge the victory and accuses him once again of excessive use of force. Cobra reacts by hitting him with a punch that sends him to the ground: the film ends with him and Ingrid they ride away together on a motorcyclewhile the music accompanies their escape into the sunset.
