The authorial titles seem to have managed to resist the impact of the deadly Zalone+ comboAvatar and they continue to earn interesting revenues. Avatar – Fire and Ash continues to rake in the box office and consolidates its role as a global box office giant. The third chapter of James Cameron’s saga has reached an estimate of 760.4 million dollars worldwide, with over 542 million coming from international markets. In its second weekend abroad, the film added 181.2 million, recording a modest decline of 25%, which drops to 15% if the Chinese market is excluded. A particularly solid hold which confirms, once again, the extraordinary ability to Avatar to grow over time, even 2 billion seems very difficult to reach.
Excellent numbers for Zootropolis 2: The Disney film reached $1.42 billion globally, with more than $1.09 billion coming from international markets, becoming the first title of 2025 to surpass $1 billion overseas. Even in the fifth weekend, the stability was notable, with a drop limited to 15% overall and growing results in several European and Asian countries, including Italy, Sweden and South Korea.
