Patrick Dempsey is a hitman in crisis in the official trailer for Memory of a Killer

Forget Doctor Strangelove’s Grey’s Anatomy. For his return to broadcast TV, Patrick Dempsey he will step into the shoes of a very different character, practically polar opposites, while maintaining his celebrated charm. Created by the duo of Silent witnesses Ed Whitmore e Tracey Malone inspired by the 2003 Belgian film The Alzheimer case, Memory of a Killer follows Dempsey as Angelo Ledda, a hitman leading a dangerous double life, hiding a personal secret even deadlier than his own hand. Early-onset Alzheimer’s presents a series of complications for Angelo as he juggles two identities: a fearsome hitman in New York and a sleepy copier salesman and family man in Cooperstown.

As an assassin, Angelo is exceptionally resourceful and talented, the best of the best. But his new condition is about to test him like never before, and now every minute counts. The situation becomes even more difficult when he discovers that his wife’s recent death may not have been an accident. So when someone comes after his daughter, it’s clear that the wall between her lives has been broken. Angelo must stop whoever is hunting his family by looking for clues in his previous successes, and the list is very long. Now he must hunt down his mortal enemy, continuing to carry out murders without revealing his diagnosis and returning home in time to prepare dinner for his daughter.
