Fondazione per l’Architettura / Torino, together with the Polish partner LURE, won first place in an Erasmus+ call relating to the research, awareness and training towards off-site technologies.
To develop the project a project is launched call for architects which will involve 20 architects (10 from Italy and 10 from Poland), called to develop a debate on the topic proposing innovative ideas for retrofitting and off-site construction aimed at facilitating the energy transition in social housing.
Off-site architecture represents an approach to architectural design and construction that is rapidly gaining ground as an innovative solution to address environmental and economic challenges in the construction sector.
The project will allow the Foundation to invest its skills in the training and enhancement of quality architecture even outside the borders of our country, for a direct impact on professionals and, consequently, on the quality of projects and works .
The complete program includes 4 days of training with conferences, workshops and site visits between the cities of Turin and Warsaw. Access to the training is completely free for all selected participants.
Who can participate
Graduates in architecture, civil engineering or urban planning can apply.
- three-year degree + master’s or post-graduate degree
- master’s degree
- master’s degree 5 years old system
- PhD students or holders of a research grant
Candidates are required to residence in ItalyL’registration in a national professional register and the fluent knowledge of English
Reimbursement
For the workshop trip to Warsaw, the selected Italian architects will receive a travel and accommodation reimbursement up to a maximum of 300 euros per person.
