The eighth edition of White Carrara dedicated to design has been inaugurated

CARRARA – Until September 29, 2024, the event will celebrate Made in Italy design and white marble, the excellence of the area, with a widespread exhibition of iconic pieces.

An opportunity to promote the excellence of the territory and confirm Carrara’s vocation as a UNESCO Creative City: the eighth edition of White Carrara, entitled Design is back, was inaugurated in Piazza Gramsci. A real traveling party enlivened by the music of the Rusty Brass Band, who accompanied authorities, artists and onlookers on the visit to Carrara, an open air gallery, led by the artistic director Domenico Raimondi.

From 14 June to 29 September 2024 the event will celebrate Made in Italy design and white marble, excellence of the territory, with a widespread exhibition of iconic pieces: on the one hand there will be the “return home” of some projects carried out over time in laboratories of the city and on the other the new proposals of contemporary designers.

White Carrara 2024 will also have an Off Circuit, thanks to the participation of local artists, workshops and art galleries, who will liven up the historic center with exhibitions and collateral events to the event.
