In the presence of the Mayor of Marsala, the Hon. Massimo Grillo, the first edition of the “Gin Sale Festival” was presented yesterday, 11 June 2024, a review of shows and cultural events which will be held starting from next 22 June at the “Opifici Culturali Bianchi”, a new cultural space set up inside the Bianchi Cellars in Marsala.
The stage is created from an old industrial warehouse called “Y” used in the past for the storage and containment of distilled alcohol.
This container lives a second life to host cultural and artistic events.
The event, which the MAC organizes together with the Cantine Bianchi with the patronage of the Municipality of Marsala, is full of commitments and will be inaugurated by the great Jazz Pianist Salvatore Bonafede, who will perform with his jazz quartet on June 22nd at 7.00 pm .
This will be followed by the concert by Aldo Bertolino and Dario Silvia jazz 4tet, (23 June at 7.00 pm); three speaker corners with Fabio Gambina (photographer – 28 June) Nicola Barraco (tennis player – 29 June) and Anna Giustolisi (Architect – 30 June).
On July 5th (7.30 pm) it will be the turn of the actor Giacomo Frazzitta with his “Buon appello italia”; on July 13th (7.30 pm) the folk singer Roberta Genna will dedicate an evening to Amalia & Rosa, queens of popular music and finally, the Carpe Diem Association will close the event with the “songs on the radio” concert, a selection of songs Italians of the 30s and 40s on 14 July at 7.30 pm.

During each evening a tasting of “Gin Sale Tonic” will be offered.
