The risks of an eruption at Campi Flegrei are once again a topic of debate during Zona Bianca. In the June 2nd episode of the Rete4 television program hosted by Giuseppe Brindisi, Daniele Capezzone is also among the guests in the studio. The editorial director of Libero provides his point of view on the area at risk, highlighting one of the most important problems, which has its roots in the past: “Here there is no right and there is no left, we are all thinking calmly. I am for freedom, so if someone wants to take the gamble of staying he has the possibility of staying, the possibility of a minimum level of safety, only seismic unfortunately. But guys in the area there are three volcanoes and twenty active craters, so in freedom there must also be the possibility of moving. Does it seem normal to you that in Bacoli in the 70s there were ten thousand inhabitants and now there are thirty thousand? Does it seem normal to you that authorization has been given to build another 350 houses? In the red zone of Bagnoli, do you think someone is talking about building the new Napoli stadium? The struggle of politics, which I think I know, is also that of telling the truth, then everyone chooses, the citizen must be free to choose whether to go or stay.
