3.6 million passengers passed through the airports of Florence and Pisa in the first half of 2023, 29% more year on year, and a recovery of 95.6% on the pre-Covid period of 2019. Toscana Aeroporti, we read in a note, in the half-year it obtained consolidated operating revenues of 42 million euros (+31%), with an Ebitda of 12.8 million (+153.2%) and a positive net result of 1.6 million compared to the loss of 3.4 million in 2022. In the months of July and August, passenger traffic recorded growth over 2022 of +16.3% and +16.7% respectively, and the traffic of the respective pre-Covid months of 2019 was exceeded by + 6.3% in July and +4.1% in August. “Despite the geopolitical and macroeconomic scenario still presenting various elements of uncertainty – states President Marco Carrai -, the results achieved as of 30 June 2023 allow us to look to the rest of the year with confidence and optimism and provide a solid basis for the strategic plans of the company with in particular the ESG issues of environmental sustainability”.
