The Coni Trophy 2023 games will open on September 21st in Nova Siri Marina, with a large evening parade of 5,000 very young athletes.
The games will begin on the 22nd and end on the 24th of September and will also see, in addition to companions, delegations from all over Italy, the participating National Presidents, and the presence of the CONI President Giovanni Malagò.
There will also be a little bit of Mazara del Vallo present at the Coni Trophy. In fact, in addition to the Head of Delegation of Fencing Sicily, the teacher Rosa Inzirillo of ASD Mazara Scherma, Team Sicily will also have two athletes from the Mazarese Fencing Club for the saber specialty who, having won the Regional Titles in the past season, were called up by the Italian Federation Fencing as team members: Gioele Coronetta And Adele Scaletta.
The other Sicilians called up to Team Sicily are: for foil Santuccio Giuseppe of Club Scherma Siracusa and De Leva Carla of Scherma Modica, while in épée Fazio Gabriele of Club Scherma Palermo and Carbone Vittoria of Methodos Sant’Agata Li Battiati.

It will certainly not be a simple competition because we will compete with all the U14 Regional Champions of the 2022 season but we will face the race with the right determination and concentration because we have the responsibility to represent our land and demonstrate that Sicilian Fencing is always an excellence in the scenario national”.
