Killer roads: another accident in Umbria. After the tragedies on Friday in Campello sul Clitunno and Saturday in Terni, and after the accident on Sunday in Gualdo Tadino, yesterday morning the firefighters intervened in Norcia along the Provincial road 685. Four people involved. The man behind the wheel of a Fiat Multipla lost control of the vehicle and ended up off-road. The Norcia firefighters who took steps to extract the four stuck in the passenger compartment. Two of them were transported to the hospital in Spoleto, while one required the intervention of an air ambulance for transport to the hospital in Terni. The fourth person involved did not suffer any significant trauma. A similar intervention was carried out by the Gaifana firefighters who had to intervene in Gualdo Tadino on Sunday to extract two people from a small car. Much more serious, however, was the accident that occurred on Friday in the late afternoon in Campello sul Clitunno where an 87-year-old man who was crossing the Strada Statale Flaminia lost his life: he was run over and killed. The Spoleto Prosecutor’s Office has opened a case for the crime of road accident. A 76-year-old woman died and her husband in serious condition: this is the outcome of the crash that occurred on Saturday in Montoro, in the province of Terni.
