The historic train from Trieste to Sacile.

They are expected over 250 passengers who will be welcomed at the station by a representative of the municipal administration, starting with the mayor Carlo Spagnol and the councilor for tourism and events Elisa Palù, who comment as follows: “It is certainly a great initiative, organized by the FS Italiane Foundation, in collaboration with the Municipality of Sacile, the Trieste Campo Marzio Museum-Station Association, TPL FVG, Vistorta estate and Promoturismo FVG, which will allow you to visit our city, one of the most engaging tourist attractionson the border between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto, which will be able to welcome visitors well with its past and numerous collateral events”.
The program of the day.
Participants in the “Train of the Gardens” yes they will leave the Sacilese station with a shuttle service that will take them to the Vistorta estateinserted in the thirteenth-century village of the same name, owned by the noble family Brandolini Rota then d’Adda since 1780: the villa overlooks a 7-hectare park designed by English landscape architect Russell Page. In the early afternoon, in collaboration with the Iat Office, there will be guided tour of Sacile with its elegant Venetian architecture which are reflected in the waters of the Livenza and the 16th-17th century grace of Palazzo Ragazzoni with its magnificently frescoed interiors. At the end of the visit, walking transfer to the train station in time for the departure of the historic train, scheduled for 17:25.
