(Agen Food) – Naples, 25 May. – This morning at the Capraro Comprehensive Institute in Procida, the Director of Coldiretti Campania Salvatore Loffreda wanted to deliver a special prize to the students who participated in the Agricultural Olympics educational competition, winning the final held in Brescia-Bergamo, in occasion of the passing of the baton among the Italian Capitals of Culture 2022-2023.
Director Loffreda and Councilor Costagliola recalled the collaboration between the Municipality of Procida and Coldiretti Campania, born on the occasion of Procida Capital of Culture 2022, which saw the agricultural organization among the official partners of the historic event. Many initiatives have been implemented: from the national day dedicated to heroic agriculture to the events at the port with Campagna Amica. Best wishes from the president of Coldiretti Campania Gennarino Masiello and the president of Coldiretti Napoli Andrea D’Ambra go to the mayor of Procida, the school manager and the little winners.
For the occasion, certificates of merit were delivered to the children of all the fourth grades who participated, but also to the Mayor Dino Ambrosino, the councilor Leonardo Costagliola, the councilor delegated to the school Sara Esposito, the school manager Rosella Salzano and the teachers for outstanding teaching efforts. Coldiretti Campania has donated to the school a computer suitable for carrying out multimedia teaching activities. In fact, the pupils have shown great attention to the themes of agri-food excellence, environmental protection, enhancement of the territory and a healthy diet that rejects any form of synthetic food production in the laboratory, a real threat to biodiversity and beauty.
