An unmissable cinerassegna on May 29 from 9 to greet the project “Once upon a time in Sicily” which in recent months has involved students from Palermo and Enna in a journey of discovery of cinema and audiovisual through meetings with directors, videos editors, producers, directors of photography of the caliber of Daniele Ciprì and Pif.
During the day, which will take place at the Rouge et noir cinema, the young students will meet Ivan Scinardo, director of the Palermo Experimental Cinematography Center, Nicola Tarantino, director of the Sicily film commission and Soldi Spicci, the duo who have chosen cinema as a means to tell their comedy.
The films “It was the son” by Daniele Ciprì, “Sicilian Ghost Story” by Fabio Grassadonia and Antonio Piazza and “Magic show” with Nino Frassica will be screened in a real film marathon.
Last, but not least, there will be the first viewing of the short film made by the students involved in the “Once upon a time in Sicily” project, created as part of the National Cinema and Image Plan for schools promoted by MiC and MiM.
The short film was shot in Palermo at the end of April with the direction and screenplay signed by the students themselves with the contribution of the teachers involved. A project that has allowed many young people to be able to see how a film project is born.
