Vetrina Toscana, the project by the Region and Unioncamere Toscana that promotes restaurants and food shops that use local products, as well as the actual producers, marries Maremma once again. Chamber of Commerce, Confcommercio and Confesercenti will join forces in the common interest of enhancing businesses and territory. The presentation of the new food, wine and tourist “experiences” yesterday morning was preceded by the awarding of Maria Letizia Bartoli, as master craftsman: she forges with her hands jewelry and decorations of various materials in her workshop in via Marsala in Massa Marittima . An activity that has received important recognition. Vetrina Toscana therefore confirms itself as a fundamental tool. “In our land – said Francesco Tapinassi, director of ‘Toscana Promozione’ – we have a natural food and wine richness. And the Maremma is one of these excellences: the initiative in question consolidates the models of collaboration. A synergy through taste and tourism, which can only be good for everyone”. “Involving many operators was our mission and we succeeded – added Riccardo Breda, president of the Chamber of Commerce – Participation in this field too must be maximum”. Through its social channels, Confcommercio has set up the “Discover Maremma Toscana” in the “Vetrina Toscana” container, where groups of tourists are led by expert guides on tours to discover the wonders of the area. “The tours – said the director Gabriella Orlando – can be chosen throughout the year: we have combined the journey of taste with that of culture. Many companies have joined and many people who have decided to join our offer food and wine and culture”.
Confesercenti will instead continue its well-established tour, or “Girogustando”. “We will match each dish with its own story – begins Marco Di Giacopo of Confesercenti Grosseto – We start in September and the tour will end in November with a surprise, namely the Finger Food. But Girogustando for members will also continue in December and January with a series meetings with a formative nature, i.e. real lessons in taste”.
