PORTO CERVO. The Cala di Volpe hotel in Porto Cervo celebrates its 60th anniversary with a concert by the Imagine Dragons. The appointment is scheduled for August 12 with a gala dinner in the hotel, where the band will then perform. The musical group, led by Dan Reynolds, will perform for the very first time in Sardinia, in a single concert organized at the Cala di Volpe hotel, owned by Qatar Holding.
The event was announced by the Costa Smeralda Area Manager, Franco Mulas, during a press conference held in the hotel’s Harrods Suite.
The concert will be the main event in a rich calendar of appointments and initiatives that will take place throughout the year to celebrate the hotel’s 60th anniversary.
Furthermore, photographic exhibitions and video projections will be set up with historical images of the hotel.
“2022 was a record year and in 2023 we will do even better. We wanted to give a big boost to tourism in this area by opening the Cala di Volpe on 6th April. Closure will take place at the end of October, so we are talking about full operational activity even in the shoulder months”, Franco Mulas says.
“There will be many events of sure impact to celebrate the historic anniversary in the right way. The Imagine Dragons concert, with the gala dinner, represents the most important event: it is a world-famous band, we are really happy to bring them here to the Costa Smeralda”, he concludes.
