Danieli Automation & beanTech win with the IoT platform for integrated quality management for the metal industry
Q3-Premium, the innovative solution of Danieli Automation, is a real-time quality control system, extended to the entire steel plantdesigned to automatically classify products, through corrective actions guided by predictive models, in order to detect potential defects earlyalso estimating the physical characteristics of the final products.
The production of metals today is accompanied by a complex and data-intensive process that requires a high level of quality control and efficiency. However, many companies still rely on outdated solutions that cannot handle the large and diverse data sources generated by automation and quality management. As a result, the steel world is facing problems such as qualitative deficiencies, large quantities of waste, excessive consumption or increased emissions.
With Q3-Premium, Danieli Automation, in collaboration with the technological partner beanTech, is able to satisfy the growing needs of metal production using an industrial IoT platform, equipped with advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AR / VR technologies. The goal is to expand into a plant-wide quality management system that achieves the best results in production through data-driven online corrective actions for quality optimization.
“Our daily challenge is to bring our customers the most innovative technologies, to help them be competitive and achieve their business goals. The partnerships with Danieli Automation and with Microsoft have been consolidated for more than 15 years and this recognition is an important step for everyone.
