An initiative that expands the tourist offer of Gubbio and enhances it, if possible, even more. This is the idea of Massari Travels, an international tour operator that deals especially with luxury tourism, and which has included the stone city in its “preferred destination” package, unique in the Umbria region.
The project was presented yesterday morning in the Council Chamber of Palazzo Pretorio, with the presence of the mayor Filippo Stirati and the councilor Gabriele Damiani for administration, while for Massari Travels the president Sabrina Massari and Barbara Pardini, development consultant of the international incoming market.
Pardini illustrated the details: “Talking about luxury today means exactly this: proposing authentic stories, heartfelt traditions that are still perpetrated today, craftsmanship of the highest level. Gubbio is a place where experiencing all this is possible, there is no it is the best destination to be able to really tell what Italy is”. The project, which has already been exhibited to various American operators, has received considerable appreciation, as Sabrina Massari explains: “Gubbio will be an exclusive destination for our agents, made up of unique experiences. Here we have found important openings, I would say fundamental: the The administration immediately joined our project with enthusiasm, supported us fully and understood the importance of what we are proposing”. Stirati and Damiani, almost in unison, respond presently, as an administration and a city that is always ready to improve: “Massari has understood what this city can offer to tourists: we are a small capital of culture, not a museum but a place full of life , of feelings, of experiences. We are really happy to be partners of such an important reality in Italy and in the world”. In the room there were also artisans from the area, in particular of ceramics, plaster and more, a reality that Massari is involving and meeting in these days. Gubbio is therefore a luxury destination: from 2024 it will also be possible to have tourism of this kind, always maintaining the simplicity that only a city like Gubbio can offer.
