The Campania Teatro Festival enters schools. The project starts with the participation of 326 students from 9 institutes of the Region in “The live show at school_Theater Workshop”, promoted by the Campania Festival Foundation directed by Ruggero Cappuccio in collaboration with the Regional School Office for Campania, in the scope of the “Orientalife” project.
The workshop, which is curated by the director Nadia Baldi and involves 6 professional artists in the live performance sector, consists of a 40-hour course in which the students, who attend the third, fourth and fifth grade of secondary schools , will be called upon to develop the dramaturgical part and to be protagonists of the 9 shows that will be hosted in the brand new “School Observatory” section of the Campania Teatro Festival 2023.
It starts on Tuesday 21 March from 9, with the director Renato Salvetti engaged with the students of the Liceo Scientifico “Laura Bassi” of Sant’Antimo, while at 11, in the State Institute “Alfonso Casanova” of Naples, the lesson will be entrusted to the director Adriana Follieri.
The other schools taking part in the project are the “Francesco De Sanctis” all-inclusive institute in Cervinara; the “Pietro Calamandrei” high school in Naples; the IIS “Assteas” of Buccino; the “Righi-Nervi-Solimena” Institute of Santa Maria Capua Vetere; the “Emilio Gino Segrè” high school in San Cipriano D’Aversa; and the “Francesco Grandi” and “Gaetano Salvemini” state high schools in Sorrento.
The team of artists who will hold the workshops is completed by Manuel Di Martino, Gina Ferri, Raffaele Parisi and Stefano Scognamiglio.
