TERNI – «In the sea of lost opportunities for Terni, the only certainty that the right gives to our city is that of drowning in a sea of mud» – the analysis of the alternative Pole for Mayor Claudio Fiorelli. «The only real development project, if we can define it that way, envisaged by the right for Terni is the sludge treatment plant that will be built in via Vanzetti. We are talking about over 20,000 tons of waste sludge from the entire region which will be concentrated in Terni. We do not want our city to be transformed into the rubbish bin of Umbria. For this reason, together with the candidate for mayor of the alternative Polo in the next administrative elections, Claudio Fiorelli, we will hold a garrison on Saturday 25 March at 10 am”.
«Terni needs real development projects to counter the economic crisis and the worrying demographic decline. Projects that are in line with the principles of sustainability and ecological transition that Europe requires. The right’s only recipe for Terni, in the guilty silence of Mayor Latini, seems to be one that leads to putting citizens’ health at risk and further worsening an environmental situation that has already been dramatic for many years. We cannot remain silent in the face of the persistence of a denial that is paid dearly by our fellow citizens in terms of health and quality of life”.
