It is a clash between Fabio Rampelli and Concita De Gregorio on homosexual parenting. The episode of “In Onda” on Saturday 18 March takes its cue from the demonstration by the Arcobaleno families in Milan against the stop to the registration of the children of same-parent couples.
The deputy of the Brothers of Italy quoted the letter from a Hispanic lady who repented of having accepted the practice of renting a uterus for 15,000 dollars: “It’s not the stork that brings the babies. Two male parents are perfectly free to stay together and have their inalienable right to have their feelings developed, but to go and rent a womb and pay for having a baby in the silence of feminists who say nothing about poor women who allow themselves to be exploited …”.

The co-host Concita De Gregorio replied politely, but decisively: “It doesn’t always go like this… it’s not always a matter of exploitation and I want to make it clear”, Rampelli insisted: “It almost always is, the statistics speak for themselves” and the journalist put him on the ropes: “However, she hasn’t answered yet: what should we do for these children? In 2023 one cannot hear that they are not registered in the registry office! A newborn who doesn’t have the right to health, to the nursery… once he’s there you have to take care of him and send him to school” and co-host David Parenzo backed her up: “What’s the fault of the children?!”.

The vice president of the Chamber insisted on claiming the choice of the Meloni government: “I remember that in the commission there was an opening in favor of LGBTQ+ associations to undertake an adoptive path … the proposal was rejected but paraoxically it allowed the child to be better protected because he could investigate paternity or maternity. It is a right that you cannot cancel”.
