MOTO2: ACOSTA AND CANET ARE CONFIRMED
Still Spain to command in the tests. Pedro Acosta he finishes in first position with a time of 1’42″234, thus leading the combined times classification of this second day of testing. Behind him Aaron Canet, another confirmation for the Moto2 Top3. The Spaniard, from the Pons Wegon team, swaps positions with Pedro compared to yesterday and suffers a gap of almost three tenths. Third place for Sam Lowes: the Englishman takes half a second off the leader but improves his position compared to Day 1. Far away Albert Arenawho from yesterday’s second place drops to eighth to almost 9 tenths from his teammate.
As for the Italians, strong Tony Arbolino, in fifth place less than a tenth from Lowes’ third box. The Milanese rider also demonstrated during the private tests in Jerez that he has a lot of speed in the category, all justified also by the big leap compared to yesterday with five positions gained. Out of the ten we find Celestine Vietti, placed in the mixed group that includes 15 riders in 1 second. Eleventh for him just five tenths from fourth position. Among the last of this group are present Dennis Foggia And Lorenzo From the Bringsrespectively in eighteenth and twenty-first position.

MOTO3: KTM HAT-TRIPLE, FENATI AND ROSSI NOT FAR AWAY
Command Diogo Moreira on this second day of testing in Portimao. He manages to print the first time and clearly improve yesterday’s performance, fourteenth. His time is one second away from the absolute best time in qualifying, set by Sergio Garcia in 2021. David Munoz behind him, with the combined standings ahead of the KTM Tech 3 by Daniel Holgado. Fifteen riders in just one second, which makes us understand that Moto3 will once again entertain and excite us this year. Ayumu Sasaki in fourth place, the Japanese detached from Holgado by only a tenth of a second. Scott Ogden signs the fifth place in the combined classification, the first we see is his that completes the Top 5. Behind him Artigasjust 0.027″, and Joel Kelso that anticipate the Italian couple.
We’re actually talking about Romano Fenati And Richard Reds, respectively in octave and ninth place. The two Italians arrive very close in the combined times with a gap between them of 0.005″. Stephen Nepa he hits thirteenth place, managing to lower his time by 1 second compared to the one recorded in today’s second session. Another Italian couple with Philip Farioli And Matteo Bertelle. Conquering respectively the nineteenth and twentieth position. Their times are roughly the same between the two sessions and we’ll see if they will have more from tomorrow.
