The golden hour of sunset, the clear sea in the morning, the rainbow of beach parties, the calm of the hills full of green. Art in the streets and in museums, music, opera and theater with all the shades of emotions, the glow of the stars in the very short nights. All the colors of this season will be the protagonists of “Dressing the summer: high fashion and quality craftsmanship at Villa Borbone”, an event that will take place on Saturday and Sunday in the setting of Villa Borbone and organized by Maria Assunta Casaroli of the cultural association Ville Borbone e dimore storiche della Versilia and by Sabrina Mattei of Federmoda Lucca, in collaboration with Tiziana Trillo of Federmoda Firenze. The protagonists are ten artisan workshops of high tailoring and fashion houses from the provinces of Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Arezzo.

The program includes a fashion show for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and, towards sunset, the opening of the exhibition on the ground floor of the Villa on Viale di Tigli, where it will be possible to meet the protagonists of “Dress the Summer” and further admire their clothes and accessories. But that’s not all, in fact the exhibition will also be open to visitors on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and it will be possible to take part in the guided tours organized at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. by the cultural association Ville Borbone e Dimore Storiche della Versilia.

The fashion houses and workshops featured in “Dressing fashion” will be presented during the show by journalist Francesca Navari, an expert in fashion, art and events. On the catwalk: Giuliacarla Cecchi (Haute Couture tailoring, Florence); Amoromeo (tailor-made clothing atelier, Florence); Silvia Berni (high-quality shirts and accessories, Florence); Mode Liana (millinery workshop and atelier, Florence); Il Carato (goldsmith’s shop, unique hand-made jewelry, Cascina); Tiziana di Pietrantonio (historical and contemporary handcrafted clothing, cosplay, Massarosa); Sciami di Camilla Bellani (tailor-made contemporary, historical, cosplay clothing, Viareggio); Casa Colleoni Collection (weaving workshop and production of clothing and furnishing accessories, Forte dei Marmi); Borgo Prezioso, bags and accessories born from the collaboration between La21 (Viareggio) and Borgo Solaio (Pietrasanta); Manusha Perera, aka Manù Perè, stylist and designer, Lucca.
