The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology detected an earthquake in the Campi Flegrei area shortly after 2:00 a.m. The earthquake, with its epicenter southeast of Pozzuoli, had a magnitude of 3.2 and, at this time, no damage has been detected.

The shock

An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 was recorded at 2:18 am in the area of Phlegraean Fieldsin the province of Naples. According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of three kilometers and an epicenter six kilometers southeast of Pozzuoli. There are currently no reports of damage to people or things.
