After the success of the June concerts in the Courtyard of the Estense Castle in Ferrara with the sold out performances of Blonde Redhead and Daniela Pes, the hypnotic power of Dry Cleaning, the refined irony of Dente and the overwhelming energy of The Murder Capital, Ferrara Sotto le Stelle returns for two precious live shows in July in the new splendid location of this twenty-eighth edition, the Delizia Estense di Benvignante in Argenta.

The festival, among the longest-running and highest quality in Italy, confirms its eclectic and dynamic spirit, curious and always projected towards the future, with a deep international vocation but at the same time attentive to the best Italian music.

The Este family’s recently renovated summer residence in Argenta is preparing to host two evocative live concerts immersed in the greenery of its park.

Monday 8th July arriva Fantastic Negritoone of the most compelling, talented and beloved bluesmen around, singer-songwriter and guitarist winner of three Grammy Awards: his concert will be opened by that of SpindleSpindlea musical ensemble that moves at the crossroads between Middle Eastern sounds and Afro-beat, Maghreb rhythms and electronics, with their debut album Lamana.

Tuesday 9th July instead the history of Italian music on stage with the very famous prog band PFM – Award-winning Forneria Marconi in PFM sings De André Anniversarya live concert celebrating the forty-fifth anniversary of the “Fabrizio De André and PFM in concert” tour, renewing the embrace between rock and poetry of the great Genoese singer-songwriter.

Ferrara Sotto le Stelle therefore maintains its roots firmly in the place where everything was born, but at the same time is able to look beyond, broadening its geographical and temporal horizons, with a view to constantly valorizing the territory it inhabits and collaborating with the realities that surround it.
