On Friday 5 July, in the presence of director Fabrizio Nardocci, director of photography Nicholas Perinelli, author of the original music Marco Lo Russo and actor Gianluca Calista, the ‘Lievito Cinema Estate’ festival will inaugurate the season at the Arena del Multisala Corso in Latina, where it will bring seven films in nine days – including successes, unreleased films and first runs. Nardocci’s “La tartaruga” will kick off the Festival, a bittersweet comedy much appreciated by critics, and starring Antonello Fassari and Nello Mascia (very good) with Anna Ferruzzo, Giulio Forges Davanzati, Valeria Zazzaretta, Alessio Simonetti, Gianluca Calista, Francesca Spurio. It tells the story of a professor who is now advanced in age and his meeting with an old friend. Bruno has been a widower for years, and lives at home with his son who is just over thirty and his daughter-in-law. The arrival of a grandchild forces him to leave space and therefore to restrict his to a small room. Marcello is an antique dealer. They had not seen each other for a lifetime, but fate perhaps moves unexpected paths and in this case also feelings and emotions that can suddenly resurface.

The story that Nardocci wrote with Maurizio Ponzi is touching, a work in which “there is also a bit of my Latina”, says the Pontine director here at his second cinematographic work whose screening at the Arena del Corso is scheduled for 9.30 pm.
The festival entrusted to the artistic direction of Renato Chiocca, continues on Saturday 6 July with “Il segreto di Liberato” in the presence of the animation director Lorenzo Ceccotti; on Monday 8 July it’s the turn of “El Paraiso” presented by the director Enrico Maria Artale. On Tuesday 9 “Kissing Gorbaciov” will be screened, which brings the author Roberto Zinzi to Latina; on Thursday 11 it’s the turn of “Non riattaccare” in the presence of the director Manfredi Lucibello; on Friday 12 July the appointment is with “Tutto quello che sarà”, a documentary by Renato Chiocca, present at the Cinema Corso with the protagonist Massimiliano Porcelli. It closes on 13 July with “Io e il secco”, in the presence of the director Gianluca Santoni and the protagonist Andrea Lattanzi, actor and musician.
