We cycle together until 8pm and at no more than 20 kilometres per hour. Fiab – Italian Federation of Environment and Bicycles, Carpi Sectionevery Wednesday in July, from 6.20pm to 8pm, organized E20 cyclicbicycle itineraries around the city of Carpi of about 20 kilometers. The meeting point is at the Parco delle Rimembranze, near the statue of Manfredo Fanti. We start on Wednesday 3 July (contact person Marzio), we continue on 10 July (contact person Franco), 17 July (contact person Tiziano), 24 July (contact person Rosella) and 31 July (contact person Roberta). An unusual and fun way to get to know the area around Carpi. “Cycling in the countryside, often along canals, mainly on low-traffic roads, cycle paths and some cart tracks… catching sight of the bell towers and arriving at the churches of the hamlets, passing through the historic centers and being amazed by the porticos, the colors of the houses, the cobblestone streets, the churches. And then, when we turn the bike around to go back to Carpi, the sun lowers on the horizon projecting its beautiful light at sunset… these are the cyclic E20s: not just a ride but an experience in company”, explain Fiab. Reservations are appreciated. Membership fee for the trip: 2 euros for members / 3 euros for non-members (5 euros for E20+20). For young people under 14, the fee is paid by FIAB. The fee includes daily insurance. In case of high temperatures, the rides could be brought forward to dawn.
