The cultural activity of the sacred archaeological area “Griso Laboccetta”, a property of the Metropolitan City managed by the association Ulyssescontinues throughout the month of July. Several events are scheduled, starting this afternoon, Tuesday 2 July at 6:30 pm, with the review “Books in the park” and the presentation of the volume “An abundant light” by Sonia Serazzi (ed. Rubettino). Eleonora Scrivo and Romina Arena will be in conversation with the author. Tomorrow, Wednesday 3 July, starting at 5:30 pm, it will be the turn of “Invitation to the dance” and the in-depth analysis of the text “Baby Mine. The Dance of Emotions“, written by Mariarosa Verduci. An event curated by the Asd Centro studi Danza di Gabriella Cutrupi with the introduction entrusted to professor Ines Calafati, in the presence of maestro Pietro Gorgone, director of the Compagnia Balletto di Sicilia. At 6:30 pm the course performance is scheduled “Inclusion training” for the regional project curated by Asi of Reggio Calabria and the choreography of maestro Giovanni Battista Gangemi.

“Rassegna libri al Parco” will return on Friday 5th July at 7pm with the presentation of “A new South“, a work by Giuseppe Gangemi (ed. Città del Sole). The introduction by the publisher Franco Arcidiaco will be followed by reports by Gianfranco Cordì and Domenico Rosaci. Thursday 18 July, at 18:00, the focus will be on “The Giant Samson Longbeard and the Mysterious Little People“, a book by Serena Palermiti (ed. Apodiafazzi) illustrated by Federica and Letizia Veneziano. The translation into Calabrogreco is by Salvino Nucera. On the same day, at 9:00 p.m., the curtain will rise on the theatrical performance “Like the waves of the sea. Values ​​and Passions of mythical heroines“, edited by the Armonia group in collaboration with the “Rhegium Julii” club. The texts are written by Florinda Minniti for the reciting voices of Ludovica Delfino, Tania Calafiore and Giuseppe Licordari, who is also responsible for the musical commentary.

“Music in the Park”, the following Friday – July 19th – will be all about the Beatles’ hits performed by the “The Beat Shop – A 60’s Sunset“. Guitar and vocals will be entrusted to Tiziano Franco and Gino Pirozzo, bass to Fabrizio Bortolami and drums to Michele Franco. The month will end on Saturday 20 July, at 8:30 pm, with “The enchantment” – songs, myth and image of the Mare Nostrum with Fulvio Cama, Francesco Turano, Serena Palermiti, Maria Cavallo and the participation of Domenico Colella.
