In particular he expressed his thoughts on the market, on the latest arrivals of Noslin e Tchaounaon the protests of the fans and on the work that Barons will have to do next season. These are his statements: “Market? I expected something, but especially due to the dynamics of the last few weeks. With the change of coach, I believe that the club wants to send an important signal and above all build a squad that is as complete as possible, evidently also on the recommendation of Baroni. I think the club must now be very careful, to try to fix the situation, perhaps with some important and valuable moves. We need to calm the environment and above all give importance to the squad and tranquility to the coach. This is the only way to improve the situation that has arisen, also because now everyone is waiting for you on the first day of the championship and you can’t do anything but be ready.”
“Noslin and Tchaouna are shots that could be interesting in perspective. They are not very important names, but I am convinced that the club has analyzed them properly. They are evidently convinced that they can increase the value of the squad. We have to see them, but I understand that the fans expected something more important. But that doesn’t mean they can do well and change people’s opinion about them. Guendouzi, for example, arrived with some doubts and then turned out to be an important player. We need to give him time, and not draw conclusions too quickly. I think the company decided to make operations so young to lay the foundations for the future as well. Who knows if they are ready, but also not and probably someone will have to wait. This is why the doubts of the fans, at this moment, are understandable. However, Lazio needed to be rejuvenated, even if now we expect something more important and some players capable of making the difference straight away”.
“Baroni? He is a coach who has done well and who has shown something importantbut he has never had to deal with a club of such a high level. This can mean everything or nothing, because he could still turn out to be a very good coach. From what I know he is a prepared one, with excellent game reading skills. Even in this case, however, the fans did not take it well because it was certainly not a first choice job. They were disappointed because they expected a coach of a different level, but who knows, maybe it could turn out to be a nice surprise. I sincerely hope and wish so.”
