The Province of Monza and Brianza has an enviable record in the field of photovoltaic. The provider’s analysis says so Energy Saving on photovoltaics in Lombardy. In the ranking among the 12 provincethe one in Monza is the brightest in the ratio between number of plants (43) per square kilometre. Looked at through binoculars from the second place, namely Milan, with only 24 plants in the photovoltaic sector. The perspective on the virtuosity of the province of Monza in the photovoltaic sector, however, changes if other parameters are taken into consideration. If we consider, for example, the number of plants per thousand inhabitants, Monza and Brianza is not at the top of the rankings, nor even in the middle, but in the penultimate position among the 12 provinces, with 20 plants against the 44 of Brescia (the first) and 43 in Cremona. With Milan ranked last and stuck at just over 11. The experts’ explanation is that the indicator of the number of plants per thousand inhabitants sees the agricultural and less anthropized provinces such as Brescia, Cremona and Mantua stand out.
Restricting ourselves to the absolute number of photovoltaic plants, Monza and Brianza has 17,691 out of a total of 264,823 in Lombardy.
