Marche Film Commission met the protagonists of “Strike – Children of a Wrong Era”, the winning film of the 2023 cinema call

These days, a school building in Potenza Picena is at the centre of cinematic attention, hosting the filming of the movie “Strike – Children of a Wrong Era“. This feature film represents the first work of three young directors and authors, Giovanni Nasta, Diego Tricarico and Gabriele Bertiwhich thanks to the funding obtained from the Marche Region through the Marche Culture Foundationhave transformed their play into a film that we will soon see in theaters.

The plot of “Strike – Children of a Wrong Era” follows the journey of three young people who face their dependencies within a dedicated healthcare facility, exploring their desire to change their lives through friendship and love, without resorting to stereotypes or clichés.

Meeting with directors and actors

The film set is animated by numerous extras and workers from the Marche region, under the care of the local production Guasco srl. The Marche Film Commission visited the set, meeting the directors who praised the warm welcome they received in the Marche. “We feel at home now,” commented the directors together with the actors present on the set, including Matilde Gioli, Pilar Fogliati, Lorenzo Zurzolo, Kyshan Wilson, Massimo Ceccherini and Massimiliano Bruno.

Producers Paco Cinematografica and Neo Art Producciones, the Iberian company that co-produced the film, were also present on the set. Neo Art Producciones will ensure the international distribution of the film, which is expected Coming to theaters and platforms in 2025.
