The founder and artistic director Joseph Arcieri and the co-organizer, project manager Michael Piazzollaare thrilled with the success of the pre-festival, which was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Circolo Dino Risi of Trani. During the pre-festival, several short films were screened and important guests such as Rita Marinelli, Franco Angeli, Livia Bonifazi, Sebastiano Casella, Dave Given, Cinzia Clemente and Antonello De Leo. In absolute preview, short films from China, Korea and Japan were presented, thanks to the program “Ca’ Foscari Short Film Festival“, partner of SIFF. During the last evening, Alex Loprieno, CEO and Founder of Weshort, introduced the #1 platform for short films in the world, discussing their ongoing partnership with the South Italy International Film Festival. The large and enthusiastic audience followed with interest the discussions moderated by Julia Gadaleta.
Appointment in Barletta
The pre-festival was a perfect preview for the South Italy International Film Festival, which will be held from July 19 to 21 in Barletta, at the lido I Ribelli. This event represents an unmissable appointment for all cinema and culture enthusiasts, promising emotions, discoveries and unforgettable encounters.
