The Football Federation itself made it official in a note, specifying that the elective federal assembly will be held at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel in Fiumicino at 11 am in second call. “The president of the FIGC – is written in the note – has called the elective federal assembly for November 4th 2024, which will be held at the Hilton Rome Airport Hotel in Fiumicino at 11 am in second call. On the agenda: verification of powers; election of the president of the assembly; election of the federal councilors of the components pursuant to art. 26, paragraph 4. of the Federal Statute; election of the federal president; election of the president of the Board of Auditors”
An announcement that comes the day after the press conference of President Gabriele Gravina, who in the day after the defeat with Switzerland, had also touched on the topic of the federal assembly to be convened. Gravina, in office since 2018 and reconfirmed in 2021, has not yet announced whether he will run again.
