PORTO SANT’ELPIDIO – Houses and lands illegally occupied: flurry of reports from the Carabinieri of Fermo who, in one case, blocked “live” the occupation of a seized apartment.

The military of the Porto Sant’Elpidio Carabinieri Station reported a 44-year-old Moroccan offender at large. The military’s attention was focused on a building, known to be uninhabited and a destination for illegal bivouacs. The check made it possible to ascertain that the Moroccan had in fact entered illegally and had set up a bivouac inside the structure. The man was thus identified and reported for the crime of invasion and occupation of a private building. A similar circumstance led to the reporting of 6 other Moroccans: the Porto Sant’Elpidio Carabinieri together with the Local Police personnel, during similar checks, intervened in a private area of that municipality where numerous cars were parked. Upon access, they found the aforementioned Moroccans who had camped out with their cars without any authorization. Also in this case, the crime contested is that of invasion and occupation of private land or buildings. Among those reported, a 27-year-old North African was found to be illegal on Italian territory, and was therefore taken to the Police Headquarters for further investigation. In Porto San Giorgio, the Carabinieri of the Pedaso Station tracked down a 46-year-old Senegalese who had failed to comply with an expulsion order issued by the Campobasso Police Chief. The man was reported to the Judicial Authority and will have to appear at the Police Headquarters to settle the required obligations. Finally, in Pedaso, the local Carabinieri together with the soldiers of Monterubbiano managed to prevent a couple from the Ivory Coast, aged 57 and 50, from entering a building seized by the Court of Fermo, which had already been previously evicted. The couple was reported for the crime of violating the seals.
