Turin – The Registry Office in Via Nizza finally reopens to the public
The decentralized registry office at via Nizza 168 reopens to the public in the Nizza Millefonti district
The decentralized registry office at Via Nizza 168, in District 8, reopened to the public a few days ago. The offices will be open from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 14:30 and on Fridays from 8:30 to 13:30. The inauguration was attended by Mayor Stefano Lo Russo, Councilor for Civic Services Francesco Tresso and the President of District 8, Massimiliano Miano.
For Mayor Lo Russo, “The reopening is a source of pride: it is the third decentralized office that has been reopened in the last two years – together with Piazza Astengo 7 and Via Leoncavallo 17 – thus meeting the requests of many citizens. In our vision of the city, the theme of public services is central, which must be increasingly widespread and capillary, with the registry offices that must increasingly become a point of reference for citizens, also in the provision of many other local services”.
For Councilor Tresso, “This is an important piece of our plan to relaunch the city registry system. In these two years we have worked hard, starting from a particularly difficult situation, and the results have already been confirming for some time the quality of our work, with limited waiting times for the release of documents and, above all, with a recovery of the function of territorial protection by the registry office, a theme particularly perceived by citizens”.
At the same time, due to the renovation works on the structure with Pnrr funds, has temporarily closed the other registry office in the territory of the 8th District, in Corso Corsica 55. All people with an active reservation at this location have been informed in advance of the closure and will be regularly served on the same date and time as the reservation at the location in via Nizza 168.
